Repairing and maintaining your home

What can i expect when i report a repair?

The Repairs Journey

  1. You report a repair
  2. We prioritise it
  3. Appointment booked
  4. Repair completed
  5. Quality checked

What happens next: We will explain what happens next, keep you updated where we can, and let you know if a repair needs more than one visit, specialist materials or follow-on work.

Example: If we visit for a leak and find that plastering is also needed, the first visit may stop the leak and a follow-on appointment may be arranged to make good the wall or ceiling.

Appointments

  • We will offer appointment times where the repair can be planned in advance.
  • Please make sure someone is available to let us in at the agreed time.
  • If you cannot keep an appointment, please tell us as soon as possible so we can rearrange it.
  • If we need to order parts or arrange specialist work, we will explain what happens next.
  • If a repair poses a serious safety risk and we cannot gain access, we may need to follow our no access process.

Appointment tip: Please make sure pets are safely away from the work area and that the repair area is clear where possible.
