What are you responsible for?
You are responsible for:
- Minor repairs
- Damage caused by your household
- Internal decoration
- Your own appliances
You are also expected to use your home responsibly, report repairs promptly, allow access for inspections and repairs, and take reasonable steps to prevent damage.
You are responsible for repairing any damage caused by yourself, your family or visitors, even if it is an accident. Repairs should be reported to us in a timely manner and unless you are reporting an emergency, you must allow access for our staff and contractors to carry out these repairs during normal working hours.
Please be aware that you may be charged for repairs and damage caused to your home and neighbouring properties as the result of a failure to report a repair or to allow access.
