Strategic Housing Market Assessment (SHMA)
A Strategic Housing Market Assessment (SHMA) has been prepared for the Nottingham Outer Housing Market Area (HMA). It defines the Objectively Assessed Need (OAN) for housing as national planning policy requires, as well as considering the need for different types of housing and the housing needs of different groups within the community.
An update paper to the SHMA has been prepared, looking specifically at demographic need for the Nottingham Outer HMA. The update paper should be read in conjunction with the 2015 SHMA.
Housing Monitoring Report
An annual report is produced to determine the dwelling supply in Mansfield District, as well as providing a status report on all sites with planning permission.
Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment (HELAA)
The purpose of the Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment (HELAA) is to identify the availability and suitability of land for housing and economic development, and to assess the development potential and timescales.
