Rough sleepers

We can offer special help to rough sleepers in the winter if the weather is continually cold this is when the overnight temperature is below zero for three consecutive nights or at times when the overnight temperature is particularly severe.

This is called the Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP) and makes available overnight accommodation to rough sleepers.

From early December until March we operate a Winter Night Shelter, please contact us for more information on 01623 463121 or email homelessenquiries@mansfield.gov.uk

Homeless enquiries are based at the Civic Centre on Chesterfield Road South, Mansfield and are available Monday to Friday between 10am to 12noon and 2pm to 4pm (except Wednesday mornings).
