If you present as Homeless bring in proof of your eligibility for housing as the first question we need to ask is are you eligible.
Help if you are homeless
Finding yourself with nowhere to live or the risk of being made homeless is both frightening and stressful. Mansfield District Council wants to help you by preventing homelessness from occurring wherever possible so that you can avoid the worry of this difficult situation.
The law relating to Homelessness changed in April 2018 this allows us to work with those who are homeless or threatened with homelessness at a much earlier stage and for longer, this new legislation is called the Homelessness Reduction Act.
