Proposed Noise Nuisance Policy
Mansfield District Council is seeking feedback from tenants and residents on its proposed Noise Nuisance Policy.
We want our neighbourhoods to be safe, welcoming and enjoyable places to live. The proposed policy outlines how we will respond to reports of noise nuisance, support those affected, investigate concerns fairly and take appropriate action where necessary.
The policy aims to:
- Promote peaceful and respectful neighbourhoods.
- Provide a clear and fair approach to managing noise nuisance complaints.
- Support tenants and residents affected by unreasonable noise.
- Encourage early intervention and resolution where possible.
- Ensure consistency in the way cases are handled.
We would like to hear your views before the policy is finalised.
