If you are staying at home due to COVID-19 and need support, there are a number of organisations on hand to help.
NHS Volunteer Responders can help with shopping and medicines delivery, as well as regular, friendly phone calls, and transport to and from health appointments. Check if you are eligible by visiting the NHS Volunteer Responder website (opens in new window) and call 0808 196 3646 between 8am and 8pm to arrange support.
If you live in Mansfield district and don’t have anyone who can help you get food, please call us on 01623 463463. For details of the general food support available in Mansfield district, visit our food support page.
If you need any other support (not food) due to COVID-19, please visit the Nottinghamshire Coronavirus Community Support Hub (opens in new window) or call 0300 500 8080 during office hours. If you require urgent assistance outside of office hours, please phone the Police on 101.
We are working with Mansfield Community and Voluntary Service (opens in new window) to provide help where it is needed the most.
We are also aware of safeguarding issues for vulnerable people and advise those who are receiving services to not pass on sensitive financial information such as bank details or a payment card. Deliveries should be left on your doorstep and always follow the government guidelines on hygiene.
