Use this form to report a dead animal on a road, pavement or footpath.
We cannot remove dead animals from private land or domestic properties.
Domestic pets that have a collar or microchip are kept for 7 days to give their owners the opportunity to collect them. If the owner cannot be identified, the council will respectfully handle the deceased animal immediately.
