Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment (HELAA)

The Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment (HELAA) is a technical study that forms an important part of the evidence base for the Local Plan. The HELAA brings together the former Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) and the Employment Land Review (ELR).

The purpose of the assessment is to identify the availability and suitability of land for housing and economic development, and to assess the development potential and timescales. Below are files that relate to the assessment process and an assessment of all submitted sites (this will be updated yearly).
