10 Mansfield-based community groups are set to receive a share of more than £300,000 of government funding to support their work thanks to Mansfield District Council.

The council issued a call for applications in summer 2025, inviting groups to apply for the latest round of UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) money to support the work they do in the community. The 10 winning organisations to have received a share of the funding are:

  • Volunteer It Yourself - Volunteer It Yourself
  • Family Action - Mansfield FOOD Club
  • Double Impact Services - Notts Recovery Collective
  • Switch Up CIC - Switch Up Community Boost Plus
  • Reach Learning Disability - Reach Mansfield Green Taskforce
  • Mansfield Museum - Green Power
  • Arena Community - Extension to Main Hall
  • Vibrant Warsop CIC - Small Steps to Feeling Great in Warsop Parish
  • Mansfield Community and Voluntary Service (CVS) - Training for charities and volunteers
  • Mansfield District Council: Mansfield Health and Wellbeing

Executive Mayor of Mansfield, Andy Abrahams, said: “We’re extremely proud to be working with the organisations who have received funding from the UKSPF. These projects are doing vital work in the community to support people to improve health and wellbeing, help people in need and make a genuine difference in Mansfield. I’m looking forward to finding out more about these incredible projects.”

Working in partnership with Mansfield District Council, Mansfield Community Voluntary Service has awarded a further 30 community groups with a share of around £200,000 of UKSPF funding, with organisations including local charities, sports teams, activity groups, cultural projects and more benefitting.

Stephen Cooper, Interim Deputy CEO, Mansfield CVS, said: “Working together with Mansfield District Council, we’ve made it easier for community and voluntary groups to access smaller amounts of funding. Each of these funded projects will make a meaningful difference to residents. These projects ensure our communities are supported with services they know they need for their area.”

Mansfield District Council currently has application windows open for businesses to apply for UKSPF funding, with grants ranging from £2,000 to £10,000 to help with start-ups as well as growth and expansion.
