Waste collections
Christmas and New Year 2025/26
Over Christmas and New Year, there will be several changes to waste collections. Customers will be able to leave an additional standard black rubbish sack of general waste beside their green bin on their first collection after Christmas. In addition extra recycling can be collected at any time of the year if it is left beside the blue bin in cardboard box or paper bag.
Monday 22 December 2025: Normal collection
Tuesday 23 December 2025: Normal collection
Christmas Eve Wednesday 24 December 2025: Normal collection
Christmas Day Thursday 25 December 2025: Bins that would have been due for collection on this date will be collected on Saturday 20 December 2025
Boxing Day Friday 26 December 2025: Bins that would have been due for collection on this date will be collected on Saturday 27 December 2025
Monday 29 December 2025: Normal collection
Tuesday 30 December 2025: Normal collection
New Year's Eve Wednesday 31 December 2025: Normal collection
New Year's Day Thursday 1 January 2026: Bins that would have been due for collection on this date will be collected on Saturday 3 January 2026
Friday 2 January 2026: Normal collection
