County Council elections
County Council elections were last held on Thursday 1 May 2025. The next elections are due in May 2029.
In Mansfield there are five divisions for Nottinghamshire County Council, represented by nine councillors:
- Warsop - one seat
- Mansfield North - two seats
- Mansfield South - two seats
- Mansfield East - two seats
- Mansfield West - two seats.
The voting system
The system used is the first past the post system. The candidate with the most votes in Warsop is elected and the top two candidates for each of the other areas are elected.
