Off-Street Parking Places Order 2024 Consultation

The council is consulting the public on changes to its Off-Street parking places. The list of proposed changes includes:

  • Introduction of new fees and charges.
  • Designation of Water Meadows car park.
  • Removal of free parking in Water Meadows car park from 15.00 to 08.00 hours.
  • Introduce two hours free parking for Water Meadows customers when vehicle registered in complex.
  • Introduction of new overnight parking charge from 17.30 hours to 08.00 hours in Water Meadows car park.
  • Include restricted parking periods in High Street and Clumber Street, Warsop car parks to a maximum stay of four hours between the hours of 09.00 to 16.00 Monday to Saturday.
  • Include restriction of one free parking period within any four-hour period in all surface car parks.
  • Remove the free parking on a Sunday in the Civic Centre car park and implement new tariff.

Documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Order are available for inspection at the Civic Centre, Chesterfield Road South, Mansfield, Notts, NG19 7BH between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30 Monday to Friday.

Any person may object or make representations relating to the making of the proposed Order by midnight on the 4th September 2024. Comments, objections, and representations must be made in writing, stating the grounds on which they are made and must be sent to the Assistant Director - Neighbourhood Services at Mansfield District Council, Civic Centre, Chesterfield Road South, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, NG19 7BH.
