Covid Vaccination Bus is back in town to target hard to reach groups

Due to its ongoing success, the vaccination bus returns to Mansfield on Friday 7 May to deliver the COVID-19 vaccination in hard to reach communities around the district.

The bus will be stopping in the Wood Street area from 1pm to 4pm.  Anyone wishing to receive a vaccination should head to Community House, the Mansfield CVS building and you will be directed to the location of the bus.

The local NHS has teamed up with Mansfield District Council and local voluntary and community organisations to bring the mobile vaccination bus service back to our district for a return visit.

The bus helps to get the vaccination rolled out in areas where take up has been lower.

If you live or work in the Wood Street or Layton Burroughs area and are eligible for a vaccination please come along to the vaccination bus - no appointment needed.

A team of NHS staff will be on board the bus to administer the vaccine in a safe way.

Anyone currently eligible for vaccination including those aged 40 or over, clinically vulnerable, carers or a frontline health and social care.  Every dose helps to Keep Mansfield Safe so why not join the millions of people that have safely received their Covid jab?

Appointments can also be booked on the NHS website (opens in a new window) at a local vaccination centre or by calling 119.
