Is your home heated by an old or inefficient heating system? Are your fuel bills too high? Or maybe you don’t have central heating at all.

If so, you could be entitled to help through the Warm Homes Hub with grants of up to £5,000 available.

Mansfield District Council is supporting the Warm Homes Hub, which is a partnership project working alongside Nottinghamshire County Council, Nottingham Energy Partnership, Age UK Notts and E.ON Energy Solutions.

The projects aim is to supply 550 fuel poor homes across Nottinghamshire with first time gas central heating and some 200 boiler placements. The grants are means tested.

Residents of properties currently heated by inefficient and old electric heating systems could be eligible for first time gas installation and central heating.

The project can also provide help with benefit checks and applications, help with home insulation, applying for discounts off energy bills (electricity and water), help to make your home safe and secure and support with energy tariff/provider switching and can loan oil filled radiators in an emergency.

For more information visit the Warm Homes Hub website (opens in new window) at or call 0115 985 3000.
