Executive Mayor of Mansfield Andy Abrahams has announced changes to his Cabinet which sees a new Deputy Mayor and a reduction in the number of Portfolio Holders.

The changes to Cabinet, with immediate effect, see a reduction in Portfolio Holders from five to four with Safer Communities and Wellbeing being amalgamated with the Portfolio for Housing to become the Portfolio Holder for Safer Communities, Housing and Wellbeing.

Councillor Stuart Richardson (former Deputy Mayor) will continue to serve on the Cabinet as Portfolio Holder for Regeneration and Growth and Councillor Amanda Fisher (former Portfolio Holder for Safer Communities and Wellbeing) will remain as an elected member of the council representing Woodhouse ward.

"I would like to thank Cllr Richardson and Cllr Fisher for their excellent work over the past year and a half."

The revised Cabinet will be noted at the next meeting of the Full Council on 17 November.

The Cabinet is now as follows:
