Do you know someone making Mansfield greener, cleaner, and more sustainable? Now’s your chance to celebrate them!
Mansfield Museum is inviting nominations for individuals, groups, schools, or businesses who are going above and beyond to protect and improve our local environment.
We want to hear about them if they have been:
- Planting trees or creating green spaces
- Protecting wildlife and enhancing biodiversity
- Promoting conservation efforts
- Reducing waste and encouraging sustainable living
- Inspiring others to take environmental action.
Cllr Andy Burgin, Portfolio Holder for Environment and Leisure, said: “Let’s give Mansfield’s eco-champions the recognition they deserve for going the extra mile to help make Mansfield a greener, cleaner and more wildlife-friendly and bio-diverse place.”
A panel of judges will select 12 inspiring winners, who will be featured in a special exhibition at Mansfield Museum, celebrating their contribution to a greener, healthier, and more environment-friendly future.
Nominations should be made by Friday 29 August by emailing audiences@mansfield.gov.uk (link opens in email app).
