Feedback from the summer activities
During the summer holidays Mansfield District Council with a range of partners delivered healthy food and enriching activities to over 1,000 children and young people, living in Mansfield.
Feedback from parents and young people:
I love it loads and loads here. I get to play with new kids and ones I already know.
I love summer school. I love how many different activities there are for us to do. I loved the healthy food tasting and when we tried the vegetables that we picked ourselves at the allotment.
It’s been really fun and I have enjoyed playing with the paint. I have enjoyed making pizzas out of clay, making pompoms and badges. The Arts and Crafts have been really fun.
My children have loved the activities I think it’s a great idea they couldn’t wait to go back.
