Combined County Authority Mayoral election
A new Combined County Authority has been created and you can vote for the new Mayor for the East Midlands on Thursday 2 May 2024.
The election for the Mayor will take place on 2 May 2024 along with the Police & Crime Commissioner election.

The voting system
Each voter has one vote.
The total votes in the Mansfield District are added together with the totals from each of the Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Derby local authorities.
The Mayoral candidate who gets the most votes is elected.
This system is called first past the post.
