- The park is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Pitch and putt golf course is open Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm, and *Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm, but closed Bank Holidays and through the Christmas period. *Opening hours may vary during very wet weather conditions.

This Fields in Trust and Green Flag award winning park covers approximately 4.3 hectares comprises of sports pitches, golf fairways, golf greens, tees and areas such as semi mature oak woodland, landscaped woodland plots of scattered pine, sorbus and silver birch, rough acid grassland to the edges and small areas of remnant lowland heath land. Much of the grassland beneath the trees is routinely mown and used for a varied type of sports.
On arriving at King George V Park there is a newly refurbished car park for visitors with approx. 30 parking spaces.
Pitch and putt, football and disc golf course fees are:
• Adult (per round) - £5
• Junior/OAP (per round) - £3
• Adult (season ticket) - £138
• Junior/OAP (season ticket) - £66
Spring opening times are as follows:
Monday to Friday, 7.30am until 8pm. 6.15pm last round.
Saturday and Sunday, 10am until 6pm. 4.15pm last round.
We are able to take cash and card payments. You can bring your own equipment but hire is available.
