This Green Flag award winning park covers 5 hectares, comprising of open grassland with mature trees, woodlands, gardens and sports facilities. At the top of the park the 18 Manor House around which the park grew up and is now a hotel and restaurant. The house dates from the early nineteenth century, with the parklands set out to provide an appropriate setting for the building. The grotto and glasshouse also date from Victorian times. In 2016 the glasshouse was fully restored to replicate the original design and features.
The bandstand within the park can be hired out for civil weddings, blessings and photography.
The Teahouse which is situated in the hotel car park used very well used by park users and contributes to the increase in visitor numbers on the park.
The Maun Valley Trail passes adjacent to the park and the walkway acts as a link between the town centre and the countryside.
Community groups, friends groups and council officers use the main pavilion for meetings, training and events.
