How your bill is calculated
Council Tax is a charge on all households and pays for local services.
Each council sets its own rate of Council Tax, subject to government limits, for each valuation band. You can view the Council Tax charges for 2025-26 here.
In Mansfield there are four elements that make up the Council Tax bill. These are:

Warsop Parish Council usually makes a charge for residents living in the Warsop area.
Council Tax is made up by:
- Property element - 50%
- Personal element - 50%.
Discounts are given to households where there is only one adult living in the property, or if the property is empty.
