Key decisions either have a significant impact on communities in the district or a specific financial impact to the council.
A key decision is:
- Any decision in relation to an executive function which results in the council spending or saving a significant amount (significant is defined as mean any expenditure or saving in excess of £50,000 for revenue budgets and £250,000 for capital expenditure).
- Any decision not likely to involve significant expenditure or savings but is likely to have a significant effect on communities in two or more wards.
- Any decision which is likely to have a significant impact on communities in one ward.
