Neighbourhood Wardens

Neighbourhood Wardens cover every part of Mansfield, Mansfield Woodhouse and Warsop, working in three area teams – North, Central and South. The wardens provide residents, schools and businesses with a contact point for concerns about environmental crime and antisocial behaviour (ASB).

Our wardens work six days a week, Monday to Saturday from 8am to 10pm, and are part of the police safer neighbourhood teams, based in the Community Partnership Hub at the Civic Centre and work closely with other council services.

Our wardens are recognised by Nottinghamshire Police under the Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS) and deal with:

  • littering
  • fly-tipping
  • animal fouling
  • graffiti
  • selling and repairing vehicles at the roadside
  • problem vehicles (including abandoned and untaxed vehicles)
  • smoking in a smoke-free place
  • fly-posting
  • duty of care issues
  • reports of antisocial behaviour (ASB).

Where else can I get help?
