Carnival is back for the third year and we cannot wait!
This year shows a Celebration of Global Unity and Environmental Sustainability – "One World"

Get ready for an unforgettable day of cultural celebration at the Mansfield Carnival, returning for its third year! This year’s theme, "One World," is all about global unity and the power of coming together as one community, as well as promoting environmental sustainability. From vibrant parades to eco-conscious choices, we’re celebrating both cultural diversity and our shared responsibility for the planet.

Carnival Parade
The fun begins at 12pm with the Carnival Parade, a colourful spectacle of music, dance, and traditional costumes marching through the streets. Experience the vibrancy of Caribbean carnival costumes, rhythmic drummers, and energetic dancers as the parade makes its way through Leeming Street and around town. This is the perfect way to kick off a celebration of culture and sustainability.

Street Party on Leeming Street
Following the parade, Leeming Street will be closed for a Street Party full of delicious food, live music, stalls, giveaways, face painting and plenty of carnival energy. The One World Main Stage will be right here, bringing live performances all day long!

Eco-Friendly Celebration
The carnival will be promoting sustainability by including eco-conscious choices, including eco-friendly giveaways produced from recycled plastic. Waste reduction efforts include no use of single-use plastic. Other initiatives to make this event as sustainable as possible, include using local associate artists, food vendors, suppliers and sponsorship.

Road closures- Leeming Street from 7am to 7pm and a phased road closure during the parade (this is approx. 10- 15 mins per road, but a majority of the route is pedestrianised on Saturdays anyway and for ones that aren’t we will try to keep traffic moving gradually when safe to do so). Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time.
