Bulky waste collections
Our bulky waste collection service disposes of large items that aren't suitable to be donated to charities. The local service is competitive on price and good value for money.
Collection types
We offer three types of collections depending on your waste:
- General bulky waste collections, for furniture (excluding sofas and armchairs), mattresses, small domestic appliances and bagged household rubbish (three bags).
- Electrical goods collections, for fridges, freezers and TVs etc.
- Upholstered seating collections, for sofas and armchairs.
Donate where possible
Reuse is always better if possible, so before you book a collection please consider selling, or gifting your item. There are a number of charities and organisations who might be interested in your second-hand furniture and electrical appliances, if they‘re in good, working condition. The following charities are among those that offer free collections for such items:
- British Heart Foundation (opens in new window)
- The Furniture Project (opens in new window)
- The Salvation Army (opens in new window)
- Sense (opens in new window)
