Mansfield District Council and Steve Yemm MP are looking to recruit an independent Chair to lead the Pride in Place programme for Mansfield.
This new Government Pride in Place programme gives Mansfield communities control of £20 million over a 10 year period, to be spent on projects that will make a real difference to the neighbourhoods in which they live.

The Pride in Place programme is aimed at regenerating the neighbourhoods most in need across the Mansfield urban area, supported by long-term funding, helping communities identify the most pressing issues to be addressed, offering them the leadership in shaping their place, and prioritising projects based on extensive community engagement with the aim of:
- building stronger communities
- creating thriving places
- enabling people to take back control
