Facilities
Male, female and gender inclusive accessible toilets are available. Baby changing facilities are provided in both female toilets and the parent and baby room, which is just off main reception.
Communication
We are committed to serving people with disabilities and providing accessible systems. We offer publications in various translations, large format print and braille on request.
A portable hearing loop is available on main reception and within the DWP Job Centre area.
Assistance dogs are welcome within the Civic Centre.
Mobility Scooters
Class 3 mobility scooters are not permitted within the Civic Centre and must be parked outside in the designated areas.
All normal parking restrictions apply to mobility scooters. Your vehicle should not be left on a footpath or pedestrian area on its own. It may get in the way of other pedestrians, including wheelchair users and people with prams or pushchairs.
In line with health and safety guidance, there are no charging facilities available for mobility scooters at the Civic Centre.
