Mansfield Museum & Art Gallery Invites the Community to Help Shape Its Future

Mansfield Museum and Art Gallery is calling on local people to help shape its future by joining a new community panel.
The panel will play an important role in guiding the museum’s work, from helping to select exhibitions to supporting the artist selection process for the annual Open Art Show. Members will also be invited to share their views on how the museum can better serve the whole community.
The museum is keen to hear from a wide range of voices — and you don’t need to be an artist, a creative, or even someone who has visited the museum before. What matters most is a genuine interest in getting involved and supporting the museum’s vision of being a place for everyone.
Museum Development Officer Kirsty Sanders said:
“We want the people of Mansfield to feel a real sense of ownership of their museum. By joining the panel, you’ll have the chance to influence what we do and help us make sure our programmes reflect the community we serve.”
If you’d like to be part of shaping the future of Mansfield Museum and Art Gallery, we’d love to hear from you.
