My Mansfield Mosaic Workshop
Join us for a fun, FREE creative workshop for all ages at Mansfield Museum on Friday 25 October 2024, between 10am and 3pm.
We aim to finish a giant community mosaic based on the artwork (pictured) created by a local design student.
The workshop is all about sustainability, and reusing paper products, so the mosaic pieces will be simple to cut and stick. We provide all the materials.
Once you have helped with the community mosaic, why not stay, and make a mini masterpiece of your own, to take home?
The workshop is organised by Mansfield District Council as part of the Townscape Heritage Initiative, which is working hard to restore historic shopfronts on Leeming Street, Market Place and Stockwell Gate. Look out for further events to celebrate Mansfield’s rich heritage, all made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund, with thanks to National Lottery players.
