Summer whats on

We have something to interest all ages this Summer so gather your family and friends and come to see us for events, exhibitions and even retail therapy!

School holiday activities will run Tuesday to Friday during August including your chance to make a bug hotel and recycled jewellery. Of course, Lego Day will return by popular demand!

Join us for Robin Hood themed trails, crafts and storytelling as we celebrate the annual Nottinghamshire Day on Thursday 25 August.

Race along to the museum to make Tour of Britain related crafts on Saturday 3 September, ahead of cheering on the riders as they pass through the district on Thursday 8 September.

All activities are free, fun for the whole family and run from 10am to 12pm or 2pm. See the image below or follow our social media accounts @mansfieldmuseum for a detailed programme of activities.

Our brand new exhibition opens on 12 July. Climate! How we can change the world explores the small actions we can all take to make big changes to the planet. If you are keen on learning more about climate change, visit www.notts.greenrewards.co.uk to sign up and earn points and prizes for the difference you are making.

Our 100 Years of the BBC and Broadcasting exhibition is still open too, so come along present a newscast or try our sound booth.

We are open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 3pm and can’t wait to welcome you.
