Get ready for a day of laughter, joy, and endless fun! Join us as we transform Mansfield into a carnival extravaganza.

Prepare to spread your wings and soar into the enchanting world of birds with our theme for this year's carnival
 "Take Flight”
Inspired by the opening of the Mansfield Museum's extraordinary exhibition, "A World of Birds," our carnival invites you to embark on a journey through the skies. Explore the diversity, beauty, and wonder of our feathered friends from every corner of the globe.

We are on the lookout for committee members to help us organize the event, dancers, singers and entertainers to perform and volunteers to support us on the day, if you would like to be involved please email our museum development officer ksanders@mansfield.gov.uk

Beyond the Baseline Stage

This year we are teaming up with Inspire Libraries to bring you the Beyond the Baseline Stage, celebrating 500 years of black british music.

Situated at Buttercross just beside the library, we will be looking for acts to perform here that celebrate black british music.
