Thread & Tranquillity: A Botanical Embroidery Workshop
Join us for a relaxed and creative evening of hand embroidery at Mansfield Museum. In this workshop, we’ll use a variety of simple hand embroidery stitches to create beautiful seed heads and stems.
A design will be pre-printed onto linen fabric for you to follow, but if you’d prefer to create something more personal, you’re very welcome to draw your own design instead.
As everyone stitches at their own pace, your piece may take longer than two hours to complete — and that’s perfectly fine. You’ll be able to take your embroidery home and finish it in your own time.
✨ All materials will be provided, including linen fabric, threads, a printed template, and sewing equipment.
✨ Suitable for complete beginners as well as those with embroidery experience.
Come along for an evening of stitching, creativity and calm.
