Firelight Family Fun day
Get ready for a glowing celebration of creativity, imagination and community at our Family Funday at Mansfield Museum on Saturday 7th February, 10am–3pm.
This year’s theme is Fire & Light, tying into our wrap-around programme and building excitement for the spectacular Firelight Festival in Titchfield Park later in February.
Families of all ages can enjoy interactive activities, hands-on workshops and magical experiences, including:
-
Rika Ace, who will be running beautiful reed light and keyring-making sessions alongside live bushcraft demonstrations.
-
The Joker Entertainment, bringing their incredible Shadow Tent, where children can design and create their own puppet ready for the shadow theatre.
-
Scott Corden, inviting everyone to help grow our vibrant community canvas with shapes, colours and creativity.
-
Carrie Austin from Wired Differently, offering inclusive craft fun for all abilities.
-
Local children’s author Adrian Beeden, sharing stories and meeting families throughout the day.
-
Face painting, adding a splash of colour and sparkle.
-
Our lively Disco Tent, perfect for little dancers (and big ones too!).
Best of all — every activity is completely FREE.
Come along, join the fun, and brighten up your February with a day full of creativity, discovery and family joy!
