Home Ed Art Workshop: Recycled Puppet-Making with Michelle Reader

home ed session

Calling all home-educated children who love to make, create, and imagine! Join recycling artist Michelle Reader for a special Home Ed session all about creativity, sustainability, and wild inspiration

Meet some of Michelle’s amazing puppets, made from waste paper, plastics, and other everyday materials that might otherwise be thrown away. Then, design and build your own unique puppet to take home — inspired by the wild creatures that share our local green spaces.

What to bring:
Bring along treasures from your recycling bin and forgotten objects from the backs of cupboards and drawers — anything that might become a paw, a wing, a whisker or a beak!

Thursday 26th February

  • 1:00 – 3:00pm: Ages 7–11

Cost: £8.50 per child
