Accessibility

Mansfield Palace Theatre is committed to improving accessibility for all of our patrons. We have wheelchair and level access via both the Box Office and Groucho’s entrances on Leeming Street and provide seven wheelchair spaces in the Stalls area with seating alongside most spaces for walking partners.

Large Print

A large print version of the season’s brochure is available upon request. Please email nwalters@mansfield.gov.uk

Toilets

Accessible toilet and washroom facilities are available throughout the venue.

Wheelchair seating

There is lift access to the balcony seating area with steps leading up to the balcony at Mansfield Palace Theatre, but there are no wheelchair spaces in that area.

You may transfer from a wheelchair to a seat on arrival as long as in the unlikely event of an emergency you are able to exit the building without the use of a wheelchair.

It would be appreciated if those making block bookings would take into account our wheelchair seating arrangements to ensure that individual customer needs are taken into consideration.

Wheelchair spaces cannot be booked on-line, only through the box-office.

Mobility scooters

Unfortunately, in most instances because of their size, the theatre cannot provide access for mobility scooters to the auditorium. For those wishing to travel to the theatre in a mobility scooter, there is some limited space in the foyer and Groucho’s Bar to park them during the performance. Please discuss your specific requirements with the Box Office staff when booking tickets.

Hearing loops

Induction loops are fitted in the Box Office, Stalls, Dress Circle and Upstairs Lounge areas for those using a T position hearing aid.

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome and drinking water can be provided – please advise Box Office in advance when booking tickets.

For further information please contact our Box Office on 01623 463133.
