D-Day Darlings bring Britain’s wartime spirit to Mansfield Palace Theatre

Mansfield Palace Theatre is set to welcome one of the nation’s best-loved wartime vocal groups when The D-Day Darlings take to the stage for a special 2.30pm matinee performance on Wednesday 9 September.

Famous for their appearances on Britain’s Got Talent, The D-Day Darlings have captured the hearts of audiences across the country with their stirring performances and passion for keeping the music and spirit of the wartime generation alive. Their memorable appearances on the hit ITV show saw them perform much-loved classics including Vera Lynn’s We’ll Meet Again.

Now, following the success of their VE Day 80 tour and triumphant performances at the iconic Royal Albert Hall, the group return to Mansfield with their brand-new stage spectacular.

Audiences can expect a heart-warming journey through some of the most cherished music of the 20th century, from the heartfelt harmonies of the 1940s through to the swinging sounds of the post-war era.
