Mansfield Palace Theatre is delighted to announce its brand-new autumn season, bringing an incredible line-up of live entertainment to audiences from September to November.

From chart-topping tribute shows and laugh-out-loud comedy to family adventures, live music and festive favourites, there's something for everyone this autumn.

Whether you're looking for a night of unforgettable music, a family day out, thought-provoking theatre, side-splitting comedy or the perfect start to the festive season, the Palace has a packed programme of events and performances to suit all tastes.

Music lovers are spoilt for choice this season, with some of the UK's finest tribute productions celebrating legendary artists and bands.

September welcomes wartime favourites D-Day Darlings (Wednesday 9 September), the acclaimed Think Floyd (Friday 11 September), Arrival: The Hits of ABBA (Thursday 17 September), FastLove: The Tribute to George Michael (Friday 18 September), A Vision of Elvis (Saturday 19 September) and Hello Again: The Neil Diamond Songbook (Thursday 24 September).

Audiences can also enjoy an intimate evening of folk music with Sip & Sounds: Jan & Paul Ramsey in Groucho's Bar on Saturday 5 September, while classical music enthusiasts can experience Music in the Round: Beethoven Piano Sonatas, performed by renowned pianist Tim Horton on Thursday 10 September.

October continues the musical celebrations with Rave On: The 50s and 60s Experience (Wednesday 7 October), Dreams of Fleetwood Mac (Thursday 8 October), Ultimate Classic Rock Show (Friday 9 October), The Rocket Man (Saturday 10 October), Steve Steinman's Anything For Love (Saturday 17 October), Mercury (Friday 23 October), The Simon & Garfunkel Story (Friday 30 October) and The Greatest Hits of Motown (Saturday 31 October).

The season moves into November with festive favourite A Celtic Christmas (Wednesday 11 November), The Ultimate MOD Revue (Thursday 12 November) and the heartwarming matinee concert Neil Sands’ Christmas Memories (Friday 13 November).

Comedy fans also have plenty to look forward to this autumn. Kicking things off is the riotous P*ssed Up Panto: Cinderella (Thursday 3 and Friday 4 September), an adults-only twist on the classic fairy tale, while The Comedy Store brings its renowned stand-up nights to the Palace on both Saturday 12 September and Saturday 24 October.

The hilariously unpredictable Sh!t-Faced Shakespeare: Romeo & Juliet arrives on Wednesday 30 September, offering a tipsily tragic take on one of Shakespeare's best-loved works.

October also sees the return of Dreamboys (Thursday 1 October), dazzling drag spectacular Queenz: Battle of the Divas (Tuesday 13 October), glamorous Tease: The Burlesque and Cabaret Experience (Thursday 15 October), and Australia's favourite provocateur Kevin Bloody Wilson (Wednesday 28 October).

Fans of classic British comedy will love The Phantom Raspberry Blower (Wednesday 16 September), the beloved Two Ronnies parody packed with Spike Milligan and Ronnie Barker's trademark absurd humour.

Shakespeare's gripping tale of ambition and betrayal, Macbeth, comes to Mansfield on Wednesday 23 September, before local theatre company Masque Productions takes over the stage with the dazzling musical Priscilla, Queen of the Desert from Wednesday 4 to Sunday 8 November.

Meanwhile, My Life with Kenneth Williams (Thursday 22 October) celebrates the centenary of one of Britain's most cherished comedy stars through David Benson's acclaimed performance.

Families are in for a treat during October half-term. Tom Fletcher's much-loved children's book There's a Monster in My Show leaps from page to stage on Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 October, while Ice Age Adventure Live brings prehistoric fun and adventure to the Palace on Tuesday 27 October.

For film and arts enthusiasts, the season features a range of enriching experiences. The popular Exhibition on Screen series returns in the Leeming Lounge, with Caravaggio (Friday 18 September), Lucian Freud: A Self Portrait (Friday 16 October) and Turner and Constable (Friday 6 November), offering fascinating insights into some of the world's most celebrated artists.

Cinema lovers can also enjoy the Mansfield Town Film Festival from Friday 25 to Sunday 27 September, showcasing independent filmmaking, emerging talent and creative storytelling.

For those interested in true crime, former undercover detective Peter Bleksley shares gripping real-life experiences in The Makings of a Murderer on Thursday 29 October.
