Mansfield Palace Theatre is set to delight families this season with an exciting programme of shows designed to entertain audiences of all ages. From beloved children’s stories and interactive favourites to uplifting music tributes and accessible takes on classic theatre, there’s something for everyone to enjoy together.

Half-term gets off to a magical start on Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 May as The Tiger Who Came to Tea springs to life on stage. This charming adaptation of Judith Kerr’s beloved book is packed with songs, laughter and plenty of surprises. Perfect for younger audiences, the show blends storytelling, puppetry and playful staging to create a truly enchanting theatrical experience for children and adults alike.

The fun continues on Thursday 28 May with The Sooty Show, featuring the much-loved trio Sooty, Sweep and Soo. Audiences can expect magic tricks, slapstick comedy and plenty of interactive moments. It’s a joyful, nostalgic treat for parents and gradparents, and a magical introduction to live theatre for little ones.

Taylor Fever is a dazzling, high-energy tribute concert on Friday 29 May,  celebrating the global phenomenon that is Taylor Swift. Featuring live vocals, stunning costumes and all the biggest hits, this feel-good show invites audiences of all ages to sing along and dance the night away.

Tuesday 2 June sees a thrilling and accessible stage adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic tale, Jekyll & Hyde, brought to life for ages 11+. With gripping storytelling, atmospheric staging and a clear, engaging approach, this production introduces younger audiences to a darker literary classic in a way that is both exciting and thought-provoking.

Join us on Wednesday 3 June for Shakespeare’s magical comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream, which will be is brought vividly to life in a fun, family-friendly production for ages 5+. Expect mischievous fairies, enchanted forests and plenty of laughter in this lively retelling that makes one of Shakespeare’s most beloved plays accessible for younger audiences.

A Tribute to Ms Rachel returns on Thursday 4 June with an interactive live show inspired by the hugely popular children’s educator. With songs, movement and audience participation, this engaging experience is perfect for little ones, encouraging learning, play and confidence in a fun theatre setting.

The Harry Styles Show brings a vibrant tribute to one of pop’s biggest stars to Mansfield on Friday 5 June. Packed with chart-topping hits, charismatic performance and stylish flair, this show offers a fun, energetic night out that youngsters, teens and parents can enjoy together.

K Pop Forever! is a colourful, high-energy celebration of the biggest K-Pop hits, live on stage on Friday 12 June. Featuring dynamic choreography, dazzling visuals and infectious music, this exciting show brings the phenomenon of K-Pop to life for fans of all ages.

Sunday 14 June sees the return of the hugely popular Shakespeare in the Park as Oddsocks present Romeo and Juliet. Taking place in Titchfield Park, this unique, outdoor-style performance offers a hilarious and inventive twist on Shakespeare’s iconic love story. Expect music, comedy and plenty of audience interaction in this lively production that makes classic theatre accessible and entertaining for the whole family.
