Magical March: Local talent, TV and sports legends and top tributes take to the stage
March is packed with entertainment at Mansfield Palace Theatre, with a vibrant programme celebrating local performers, iconic tributes, comedy favourites and legendary names from stage and sport.
SUPPORT LOCAL TALENT
Kicking off the month, Mansfield Operatic Society brings the magical world of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to life from Wednesday 4 to Sunday 8 March. Audiences can expect a spectacular stage adaptation of Roald Dahl’s much-loved story, packed with colourful characters, memorable songs and dazzling production numbers.
The spotlight then turns to the next generation of performers as Mansfield Palace Senior Youth Theatre presents Treasure Island on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 March. This swashbuckling adventure promises pirates, peril and plenty of theatrical flair from Mansfield’s rising stars.
TRIBUTES TO ICONS
The season continues with a powerhouse line-up of tribute shows celebrating some of the world’s biggest music legends:

- Wickedly Ariana – Saturday 14 March
- Strong Enough – The Ultimate Tribute to Cher – Wednesday 25 March

LEGENDS AND LAUGHTER
Football fans can relive unforgettable moments with Nottingham Forest Legends on Tuesday 17 March, as former players Mark Crossley, Des Walker and Stan Collymore share stories from the pitch and beyond.
Irish music fans won’t want to miss Seven Drunken Nights: The Story of the Dubliners on Tuesday 24 March – a lively celebration of one of Ireland’s most iconic folk bands.
Comedy lovers are in for a treat as The Comedy Store (16+) arrives on Saturday 28 March, featuring Eleanor Tiernan, Liam Farrell and Rich Wilson.
Rounding off the month, Easter arrives early with Mother Goose on Monday 30 March, starring children’s TV favourite Basil Brush, West End star Darren Day, and a special guest star to be announced – so keep your eyes peeled.
