Mansfield Palace Theatre announces January to March 2026 season preview
Mansfield Palace Theatre is delighted to unveil its January to March 2026 season, offering a diverse mix of productions designed to brighten the start of the new year.
From pantomime and classical music to tribute acts, family favourites, comedy and community performances, the programme promises memorable entertainment for audiences of all ages.
Pantomime continues into the new year as Westfield Folkhouse present Aladdin from 17 to 25 January, followed by Mansfield Hospitals Theatre Troupe with Rapunzel from 31 January to 7 February. The theatre encourages audiences to support these talented local companies as they bring familiar stories to life on the Palace stage.
The programme continues into February with Celine: My Heart Will Go On on 12 February, followed by Showaddywaddy on 13 February, where limited tickets remain. Steve Steinman returns on 14 February with Vampires Rock: Eternal Love – the Musical, offering a thrilling and theatrical way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. On 17 February, audiences can enjoy Flowers and Friendship Bracelets, a tribute to Taylor, Sabrina, Miley and Chappell.
Music in the Round return on 18 February with an intimate on-stage performance of Beethoven and Brahms, while Forbidden Nights (18+) arrive on 20 February. The month continues with Live Forever, a tribute to Oasis, on 21 February; Talegate Theatre’s Rapunzel on 22 February; and Julia Donaldson’s much-loved The Gruffalo’s Child on 25 and 26 February. Thank You for the Music celebrates all things ABBA on 27 February, and The Johnny Cash Roadshow takes to the stage on 28 February.
March begins with Mansfield Operatic Society presenting Charlie and the Chocolate Factory from 4 to 8 March. Mansfield Palace Theatre’s own Senior Youth Theatre follow with their production of Treasure Island on 11 and 12 March. Rock for Heroes arrives on 13 March, and Wickedly Ariana brings the hits of Ariana Grande alongside songs from Wicked on 14 March.
An Evening with Nottingham Forest Legends Mark Crossley, Des Walker and Stan Collymore takes place on 17 March. Seven Drunken Nights: The Story of The Dubliners offers a lively St. Patrick’s celebration on 24 March, followed by Strong Enough – The Ultimate Tribute to Cher on 25 March and The ELO Experience on 26 March. The Comedy Store (16+) brings a night of top-tier stand-up comedy on 28 March.
The season closes as it begins, with pantomime. The Easter 2026 production will be Mother Goose, with star casting to be announced.
Alongside the live programme, it’s always film season at the Leeming Lounge. Upcoming screenings include Dirty Dancing on 11 February, My Journey Through French Cinema on 27 March, and Michelangelo as part of the Exhibition on Screen programme on 30 January.
