Ballet Theatre UK brings A Christmas Carol to Mansfield Palace Theatre
Ballet Theatre UK is delighted to announce that its critically acclaimed production of A Christmas Carol will visit Mansfield Palace Theatre on Tuesday 11 November.
Audiences are invited to step into a Victorian winter wonderland and experience Charles Dickens’ timeless tale of redemption, spirit and the joy of Christmas, brought to life through the magic of ballet.
This stunning adaptation transforms Dickens’ classic story into a captivating ballet, featuring sumptuous costumes, innovative choreography by Artistic Director Christopher Moore, and an evocative score filled with seasonal carols.
First staged in 2012, the production has become a firm favourite with audiences across the UK, praised for its theatricality, elegance and emotional impact. Critics have described Ballet Theatre UK’s work as featuring “glittering costumes, expressive dancers… a pleasure to witness a production of this calibre.”
The production follows the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge on his unforgettable journey with the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. Through stunning dance and storytelling, this heartwarming performance captures the true spirit of the festive season, making it the perfect family treat.
