Oh yes they did! Cast cause a stir at sparkling panto launch

Mansfield Palace Theatre’s Snow White press event bursts with fun and festivity...
Mansfield Palace Theatre rolled out the (glittering) red carpet yesterday for the official press launch of this year’s festive pantomime, Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs. The theatre was buzzing with excitement as members of the press and special guests including the Mayor gathered to meet the cast and representatives of UK Productions, whilst getting a sneak peek at the magic in store this Christmas.
The venue was transformed into a fairytale photo backdrop, complete with a sequin shimmer wall and a stunning apple-shaped balloon installation from Lighting and Balloon Decor, perfectly setting the scene for interviews and photographs by Elizabeth Orridge Photography. A green screen provided by Linney gave the cast the chance to film dynamic promotional content, offering a glimpse of the festive spectacle to come. Guests were also treated to a beautiful buffet spread by The Bakers Shop, based on Hermitage Lane -- - adding an extra touch of local flavour to the celebrations.
And the fun didn’t stop inside! The cast spilled out onto the street, causing joyful chaos outside the venue as they interacted with theatre customers, passers-by and even bus drivers and passengers, encouraging everyone to snap up their tickets soon for what promises to be a magical festive season.
Headlining the cast is beloved CBeebies star Katrina Bryan (Nina and the Neurons, Molly & Mack) as the deliciously wicked Evil Queen. Katrina shared her excitement:
“I am so excited to come to Mansfield for Snow White this Christmas! I’ve heard so many great things about the theatre, the people and the town. I can’t wait to get started! Especially as I get to be a baddie this year… I may like it so much I’ll never be good again!”
Ben Harlow makes a triumphant return as the outrageously fabulous Dame Dilly Donut, promising even more glitter, giggles, and glamour than ever before.
“I am so delighted to be returning to the Palace Theatre. We had a blast last year, didn't we? This year Dame Dilly Donut will be just as outrageous. Snow White will have music, dancing and laughs a go go… Mansfield, let’s party!”
Also returning is audience favourite Adam Moss as the lovable Muddles, bringing his signature mischief and high-energy humour to the stage.
They are joined by Joseph Dockree (Mrs Doubtfire, Mary Poppins, Cabaret) as the dashing Prince Fredrick, and Emilie du Leslay (Starlight Express, Wind in the Willows, Les Misérables) as the enchanting Snow White, both of whom shone during the day with their outstanding talent and personalities.
Completing the cast are Hayley Burroughs, Denise Coppen, Willie Coppen, Emily Dyer, Simeon Dyer, Kieran DuMont and Ben Holmes as the Seven Dwarfs, who promise to be nothing short of cheeky if their antics yesterday are anything to go by!
With glittering sets, world-class choreography, laugh-out-loud comedy, and a story full of festive magic, this year’s pantomime promises to be the number one family experience of the season.
Performances run from Saturday 22 November to Wednesday 31 December 2025 and with almost 24,000 tickets already sold, the theatre advises booking soon to secure your seats.
