Fabulous family fun this February!

What's on February 2025 image

If you’re already on the hunt for low cost, family friendly and – perhaps most importantly - weather-proof activities during February half term, then Mansfield Palace Theatre have you covered...

Spend Valentine’s Day (Friday 14 February) with us at Flowers and Friendship Bracelets – the ultimate pop tribute to Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo and Sabrina Carpenter. Get ready for a dazzling explosion of music, dance and excitement and join us for the ultimate pop concert to celebrate the biggest hits from the hottest artistes of the moment. Let’s Shake it Off to our very own Taylor Swift; sing along to Flowers with Miley Cyrus; dust off all our best dance moves to Vampires with Olivia Rodrigo, and not forgetting the unstoppable Sabrina Carpenter performing all her top hits such as Espresso. Our evening pop party sold out in days, so we’ve added a 2pm matinee with a few seats remaining.

Our classical programme continues with our friends at Music in the Round presenting two shows on Monday 17 February. The Giddy Goat (11am) is inspired by the beloved children’s book, bringing the story to life through enchanting original music, performed by strings, wind, and piano. Then in the evening (7.30pm), join us to be seated on stage in an intimate setting for Mozart Masterpieces, featuring talented string players alongside horn and clarinet, who come together to perform three of Mozart’s most cherished masterpieces: the beautifully melodic Clarinet Quintet, the soulful Horn Quintet, and the poignant yet uplifting String Quintet in G.

We’ve got some great comedy shows coming up this season, starting with Comedy Club 4 Kids during half term on Tuesday 18 February at 2pm. Since 2005, the Comedy Club 4 Kids has been getting the best stand-ups and sketch acts from the international circuit to do their thing for an audience of children (aged 6+) and their families… but without the rude bits! The show is family friendly, but without any patronising idiocy. In fact, it's just like a normal comedy club, but it's on in the day, kids are allowed in, and there is a higher than usual chance of heckles like "why is that your face!?"

If you’ve not been swept up by Wicked mania lately, where have you been?! We’re so excited to present Wickedly Ariana on Wednesday 19 February where Hannah Thomas – plus her band and dancers - will take you on a magical journey of all Ariana Grande’s greatest hits, plus songs from the blockbuster movie and musical fantasy Wicked. Expect to hear One Last Time, 7 Rings, Side To Side, Bang Bang, Break Free, Into You, Thank U Next, Save Your Tears, Defying Gravity, Popular and many more. Stunning choreography, elaborate costumes and immersive storytelling make this a must see theatrical experience.

And they lived ‘hoppily’ ever after… Kissing a frog has started a whole new kind of adventure for our heroic princess! Join TaleGate Theatre Productions on an adventure that is toad-ally wild on Saturday 22 February! Our latest family panto, The Frog Prince, will be packed with songs, slapstick, silliness, audience participation, and fairytale magic… You’d be hopping mad to miss it!

Tickets for all events can be purchased online 24/7 at mansfieldpalace.co.uk or you can visit or call Box Office on 01623 463133 during office hours. We can’t wait to welcome you soon.
