  • Rembrant - Exhibition On Screen

Explore the genius of Rembrandt at the Mansfield Palace Theatre Lounge. This event invites artists, creatives, and culture enthusiasts to connect, relax, and experience the power of Rembrandt. This Week’s Film: Rembrandt Every Rembrandt exhibition is eagerly anticipated, but this major show from London’s National Gallery and Amsterdam’s Rijksmuseum is an event like no other. With privileged access to both galleries, the film documents this landmark exhibition while weaving in the story of Rembrandt’s life and the meticulous preparations behind the scenes. The exhibition focuses on the final years of Rembrandt’s career – widely regarded as his most extraordinary period. The works created during these years are often considered his defining masterpieces: deeply soulful, profoundly honest, and essential to our understanding of him as both a man and an artist. Through interviews with curators, art historians, and other experts, the film examines each of these pivotal works, shedding new light on the painter many regard as the greatest artist who ever lived. Why Attend? Gain unparalleled access to the National Gallery and Rijksmuseum’s landmark Rembrandt exhibition. Discover the depth and humanity of Rembrandt’s late works.
