    You shall go to the ball with 2026's sparkling pantomime, Cinderella! Grab your friends, family and colleagues, sparkle your slippers and book your tickets before the clock strikes! Stepping into the iconic crystal slippers is Emmerdale favourite Rosie Bentham, best known for her role as Gabby Thomas. Since joining the long-running ITV soap in 2016, she has become a recognisable face on UK television, earning praise for her engaging and authentic performances. Viewers have watched her character evolve through challenging storylines and her ability to portray the complexities of teenage life and its struggles have earned her admiration. A proud Nottingham native, Rosie returns close to home to bring warmth, charm and a touch of fairytale magic to this rags-to-riches tale. Cinderella’s wicked stepsisters treat her as their servant. She’s going to need all the magic her fairy godmother can muster if she is to meet her Prince Charming and find true love before midnight. With a script by Jon Monie (writer of this year’s production of Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs and winner of Best Script at the Great British Pantomime Awards 2019), this spectacular production will delight with its enchanting story, side-splitting comedy, lavish settings and adorable miniature ponies.   • The Snow Queen

    The Toy Maker is in his workshop, making toys for the children when all of a sudden they come to life to tell the story of The Snow Queen Follow Gerda on her adventures as she sets out to rescue her brother Kai from the evil Snow Queen who is holding him prisoner in her ice palace and meet the magical creatures who help her on her mission. It's a wonderful tale of The Snow Queen told through the eyes of puppets Gerda and Kai. Join them on their adventures, Watch Paul Batten of Theatrix Arts perform this magical story through puppets, changing scenery, music and sound effects. Then meet the puppets and create you very own Puppet of a character from the show!   • LEGO – Home Education creative session and social meet up for ages 7 to 16

    Join us for a fun and creative LEGO session inspired by our World of Birds and My Favourite Tree exhibitions. Young people will have the chance to take part in a range of LEGO challenges and hands-on activities throughout the museum galleries, while home educated families can enjoy meeting and socialising with others in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

  • Spotlight: Festive Performance Skills (Ages 8 to 16)

    Spotlight is an exciting drama programme for home educated young people aged 8-16. Through games, improvisation, movement, character work, script exploration and performance, participants will develop confidence, creativity, communication skills and friendships in a supportive and inclusive environment. Led by experienced drama practitioner Stacey Moon-Tracy, sessions encourage self-expression while introducing key theatre and performance techniques. This session will focus on festive performance skills, young people will have the opportunity to create their own festive sketches and then share them back with others in the class to improve their confidence skills.

  • MHTT Presents Sleeping Beauty

    Mansfield Hospitals Theatre Troupe presents Sleeping Beauty at Mansfield Palace Theatre in January/February 2027. Get ready for a spectacular show filled with magic, laughter and a rather long nap! Join Aurora, our cursed princess as her friends fight to save her, and defeat the evil Malevolent. This show is full of heroes, villains, and heaps of audience participation - so bring the whole family. All profits from this production go to support local charities, so every ticket you buy helps make a difference in the community.

  • T.Rextasy

    Marc Bolan and T.Rex were some of the most flamboyant, charismatic stars of the original glam-rock era and with Bolan's special ingredient of rock-a-bBoogie songs, the band had a string of huge hits throughout the 1970s. T.Rextasy have performed around the world for over 20 years and the band is now accepted as the world’s only official live tribute band dedicated to T.Rex. They are the only band endorsed and approved by Marc Bolan’s family, estate, original ex-members of T.Rex, and Bolan’s catalogue management. The band has been described by many as ‘beyond the boundaries of tribute’.

This non-stop hit machine, authentically recreated by our phenomenal cast and live band will transport you back in time to 1963 and beyond for a magical evening enjoying all your favourites. During the 60s and 70s No1 hits Sherry, December 1963 (Oh What a Night), Walk Like a Man, Rag Doll and Big Girls Don’t Cry helped propel the Four Seasons and Frankie Valli to super stardom. After selling an incredible 100 million records worldwide, there’s a Four Seasons song that shares a special place in everyone’s heart. This internationally acclaimed show authentically revives the sublime harmonies of New Jersey’s finest. It showcases Frankie’s incredible falsetto, and features his solo hits like Grease, Let’s Hang On, Working My Way Back to You, Beggin’, I’ve Got You Under My Skin, and Who Loves You. So it’s time to hang on to what we got and celebrate one of the world’s treasures in two hours of non-stop hits with Big Girls Don’t Cry! Oh what a night it will be!   • Sip and Sounds with Tom Kitching

    Join us for our Sip & Sounds series of acoustic music nights, offering up close performances in Groucho’s Bar at Mansfield Palace Theatre. Author and musician Tom Kitching presents his new book and album, Where There's Brass, with a special storytelling and music concert show. Documenting six months living in the London waterways community, making the long journey across England from Manchester on a traditional narrowboat built in 1937, Where There's Brass tells the story of the contemporary London waterways; a floating slum at worst, a bohemian, alternative, vibrant community at best. It is a love letter to the waterways, and a rallying cry for what they can be in the future. Stories old and new interwoven with a specially composed suite of music, underpinned by Tom's long-term accompanist, the brilliant Nordic mandola player Marit Fält.
