Writing Workshop - Create a Ladybird Book/Cover

Create your own ladybird book/book cover for ages 7 to 16yrs Inspired by classic Ladybird fairy tales, you will create alternative stories told from the perspective of the villain or a side character—imagine hearing what the Big Bad Wolf or the ‘evil’ witch has to say. You will have complete creative freedom: plant your beanstalk in Mansfield or trap Rapunzel in a tower on the Moon. Using the principles of what makes a good story, you will write or sketch out the Ladybird book you wish they had published. All you need is your imagination—no previous writing experience required! With prompts, templates, guidance, examples, and lots of encouragement, you’ll become the author and or illustrator of your own work. We can’t wait to see what you bring to life. 10am to 11.30am
