Refresh your teaching practice with a vibrant day of professional development designed to spark creativity, build confidence and bring new energy into your classroom.

This CPD day offers two engaging sessions led by experienced practitioners. Choose one or attend both and enjoy a discounted full‑day rate.

 

Morning Session: Creative Curriculum

9:00am – 12:00pm Led by Lucy Colgan

Discover how the arts can transform learning across the curriculum. This practical session explores creative approaches that boost engagement, inspire imagination and strengthen cross‑curricular connections.

 

Afternoon Session: Global Dance

12:45pm – 3:45pm Led by Charmaine Daley

A lively, hands‑on workshop introducing dance styles and cultural traditions from around the world. Build confidence in delivering inclusive PE and dance through global movement, music and cultural exploration.

About the Practitioners

Lucy Colgan

An educator, stage director and podcast host-producer with a PGCE in Drama & Performing Arts and a Professional Diploma in Dance from Trinity Laban. Lucy specialises in making the arts accessible for all and delivers dynamic, bespoke training for educators across schools and community settings.

Charmaine Daley – Global Dance

Creator of “Global Dance: Music, Movement and Cultural Education from Around the Globe.” Charmaine delivers energetic workshops celebrating culture, identity and diversity through styles such as Soca, Bhangra, Haka, Samba and more — bringing global heritage straight into your classroom.
