Poetry Competition Workshop with Special Guest Appearance from Richard C Bower, Mansfield’s Poet Laureate
As part of the Mansfield Townscape Heritage Project, join poet Leanne Moden to write poems on the themes of Community, Hope, Inspiration, Kindness, Courage, Reflection, Strength, Support and Respect
Using fun and practical activities, we’ll create writing together, which you can submit to the poetry competition which is open for entries from 1st March until 30th April 2026. Short-listed poems will be published, and will form part of a new Contemplation Wall artwork, right in the heart of Mansfield!
Special guest, Mansfield;s Poet Laureate, Richard C Bower will join us to share readings from his highly acclaimed poetry collections, including his newest work, Introspective Soliloquies. This session is suitable for beginners, and folks looking to overcome writers’ block in order to enter their poetry into the competition.
