Bin collections affected over the bank holiday

Her Majesty The Queen's funeral will be taking place on Monday 19 September. This will be a public holiday and therefore we will be closed.

There will be no bin or bulky waste collections on Monday 19 September. Instead, these bins will be emptied on Saturday 17 September. Any garden waste bins that are not emptied on Saturday 17 September, will be emptied by Saturday 24 September. Please leave your bin out and we will empty it as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, we were not able to empty some garden waste bins on Thursday 15 September (round 12). We aim to empty these bins on Wednesday 21 September.

You can check your bin collections schedule and what rounds you are on by using our bin days lookup (opens in new window).

Please ensure your bin(s) are out by 6am. Bins must not be overloaded and the lid must be able to close. Please park considerately so the truck can access your street.

We apologies for inconvenience caused and thank residents for their patience and understanding at this time.

If you haven’t already, keep up to date with your bin collections by signing up for free bin alerts.
